Wilma de Soto

Wilma de Soto is a retired teacher of English as a Second  Language who worked in the public schools of Philadelphia for  nearly 40 years.  

She is a member of The Badass Teachers’ Association’s Board of  Directors. (BATs)  

Wilma is a graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory of  Music, and hold a Post Graduate degree in Education with the  emphasis on Bilingual/Bicultural Studies from La Salle  University in Philadelphia.  

Wilma is a life-long activist and has served in several non-profit  associations as a Board Member.  

NWBC is very near and dear to her.
